Oceanside citizen Eric Lido was the recipient of selective and retaliatory felony criminal prosecution, because he opposed the election fraud by the Oceanside Police and Fire Departments in 2009.
Oceanside 12 year veteran Police Sgt. Walter McWilson's Grand Theft Conspiracy is just the latest in a growing list of Oceanside Police Officers, involved in felony crimes and conspiracy. The Oceanside Police and Fire Public Unions election fraud conspiracy succeeded with the election of hired gun Charles Lowery to the City Council. Lowery promptly joined corrupt Mayor Wood and Corrupt Deputy Mayor Sanchez by approving the new expanded multi-million dollar union contract, while citizens were already million in debt with the existing contract.

The filing of a wrongful termination lawsuit on November 14, 2011 by Oceanside Police Officer Gilbert Garcia provided new crimes, new names of dirty cops, and more evidence on Oceanside Police public corruption. The court records, signed under penalty of perjury, exposed the start of an August 2009 high level police criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice, in the police Sgt. David Larson DUI investigation. The criminal conspirators named by Officer Garcia included Police Chief Frank McCoy, Capt. Reginald Grigsby, Sgt. Travis Norton, and Does 1 thru 20, which may not be enough Does to cover all of the corrupt Oceanside cops. A police Sergeant that confessed to lying to investigators about his involvement, hiding stolen property, but was protected from arrest, in the hope the girlfriend embezzler would remain silent.
All in written sworn testimony, on McWilson's 2009 Arrest Warrant, with the signatures of Det. Mike Brown, DDA Anna Winn, and California Superior Court Judge Runston Maino. An arrest warrant that appears to have been hastily written, as the cover up fell apart, and the protected Police Sgt. McWilson, got named.

In 2001 Officer Smith was fired from the police academy for incompetence, and then Smith extorted his way back onto the police department with a large financial claim against the City of Oceanside, and accusations of racial and sexual discrimination against white female police officers, and Smith was a black officer.

Officer's Domonique's police report was falsified to hide the existence of the audio tape. Complaints against Oceanside police officers involved in criminal conduct, submitted to internal affairs are never heard from again. IA uses state laws on privacy of peace officers, to suppress all information on all complaints. All allegations of criminal wrong doing are buried, whenever possible.

Sgt. Ron Hardy, head of Internal Affairs for the Oceanside Police Department, was suppose to investigate Officer Damon Smith. Instead Sgt. Hardy suppressed a credible witness, to the involvement of other Oceanside Police Officers, in the eight years of continuous evidence tampering in criminal investigations. Sgt Hardy was even coordinating press control with Suspect Officer Damon Smith.

OCEANSIDE'S CHIEF DIRTY COP'S WIFE SETS UP ARMED AMBUSH ON POLICE OFFICERS
On December 16, 2010, after a series of family disputes, Brenda McCoy, wife of Oceanside Police Chief Frank McCoy phoned the Cypress Police to tell them she need help. When Cypress Police arrived at the McCoy residence they found Brenda McCoy armed with a semi-automatic gun, and she opened fire on the Cypress Police Officers.
