Sgt. Ron Hardy, Head Of The OPD Internal Affairs Division, Suppressed A Witness, And Obstructed Justice In Officer Smith IA Investigations
AUDIO RECORDINGS - CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS TO SGT. RON HARDY
Sgt. Ron Hardy, head of Internal Affairs for the Oceanside Police Department, was suppose to investigate Officer Damon Smith's eight years of secret recording, of criminal investigations. Instead Sgt. Hardy suppressed a credible witness, an officer of the court, with direct knowledge of the involvement of more Oceanside Police Officers. More OPD Officers involved in the eight years of continuous evidence tampering in criminal investigations. Sgt Hardy was even coordinating press control with Suspect Officer Damon Smith during the early weeks of the fake investigation.
On October 6, 2009 this reporter contacted Criminal Defense Attorney Andrew Limberg. Mr. Limberg is the attorney, that was examining Officer Damon Smith under oath in April 2009, and discovered Smith's eight year history of recording criminal investigations, and hiding the evidence audio tapes from the criminal Justice System. Limberg is also the witness to statements, made by Officer Smith, implicating multiple unidentified Oceanside Police Officers in Smith's eight years of evidence tampering with audio tapes. We now know that one of those other officers, tampering with audio tape evidence, was Officer Jon Domonique and we have seen the results of false arrest and false prosecution of innocent citizens, with the support and protection of DDA Daniel Rodriguez, DDA Laura Gunn, DDA Damon Mosler, District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, Chief Of Police Frank McCoy, and the corrupt Oceanside City Council.
(UPDATE NOVEMBER 2011 - OCEANSIDE'S CHIEF DIRTY COP FRANK McCOY, CONSPIRED WITH SENIOR COPS, TO DESTROY MORE AUDIO TAPE EVIDENCE AGAIN, IN 2009 POLICE SGT. LARSON DUI INVESTIGATION !)
On October 9, 2009 this reporter contacted DDA Laura Gunn, who was assigned by DA Bonnie Dumanis to head up, or more accurately to suppress, the investigation of Officer Smith. This reporter gave DDA Gunn the witness identity information, and Limberg's statement information, implicating more Oceanside Police Officers in the eight years of evidence tampering.
In late October press releases by District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis advised Officer Smith had done nothing wrong, would not be prosecuted, and there was no evidence of other police officers involvement in the eight years of audio tape evidence suppression, and tampering.
On November 3, 2009, this reported meet with Sgt. Ron Hardy, OPD Internal Affairs Supervisor, and filed a formal written criminal, and misconduct complaint against Officer Damon Smith. The written complaints contains the witness Limberg identity and Officer Smith's statement information implicating other Oceanside Police Officers in the eight years of evidence tampering. The complaint filing process was recorded on audio tape for further verification.
The witness information was also provided to Deputy District Attorney Damon Mosler, Mr. Henry Coker, head of the Public Defenders Office, Chief Of Police Frank McCoy, in public council sessions, and the Oceanside City Council with detailed recorded complaints. It was later verified that all parties suppressed the witness identity, and statements implicating more Oceanside Police Officers in evidence tampering. One of those Officers would later be identified as Officer Jon Domonique
On November 4, 2010 this reporter contacted Witness Attorney Andrew Limberg. Limberg again stated, as he had in October of 2009, that there had been no contact, of any kind, from any investigator, regarding the Officer Damon Smith statements.
Sgt. Ron Hardy, head of the Oceanside Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, has suppressed the Limberg witness information, and obstructed a criminal investigation, that had never occurred. This criminal obstruction was the continuing protection of Officer Smith, to keep his mouth shut about the involvement of other Oceanside Police Officers, to protect eight years of corrupted DA prosecutions, and the on going Oceanside Police & Fire Departments election fraud for profit scheme.
The witness to the involvement of more Oceanside Police officers in massive evidence tampering had been suppressed by every justice agency from the police, to the DA's office, to the Public Defenders, and even the Attorney General's Office of California.
AS REPORTED BY GTI NEWS - DISTRICT ATTORNEY SPECIAL OPERATIONS (INTERNAL AFFAIRS) CORDINATES EVIDENCE TAMPERING COVER UP
A witness that that expanded the number of police officers involved, the number of corrupted cases, and would lead to more district attorneys that were already being only partially covered in local news stories.
